7 1/2”(190.5mm) IADC 537 TCI Tricone Roller Cone Drill Bit Water Well Drill Bit

· The tricone bit consists of a bit body and three rotating cone assemblies. Each cone is mounted on bearings and equipped with hard, wear-resistant teeth (tungsten carbide inserts or milled steel teeth), which crush and shear the formation under weight-on-bit.

· The bearing system (roller or journal bearings) is protected by high-performance seals and lubrication systems to withstand downhole loads, friction, and high temperatures.

· The bearing system (roller or journal bearings) is protected by high-performance seals and lubrication systems to withstand downhole loads, friction, and high temperatures.

Instructions for the use of drill bits

1.Select the appropriate type of drill bit based on formation lithological information, hydraulic and drilling parameters.

2.According to the hydraulic parameters to choose the corresponding nozzle, nozzle hole size grade difference should not be too large, so as not to erode the flow channel.

3.Before the drill bit is lowered into the well, 1) check that the size and type of the drill bit match the well diameter, 2) check that the nozzle is fitted, and 3) check that the specifications of the drill bit connecting wireline mating pattern and the joint match.

4.The drill bit should be lowered in accordance with the prescribed operating procedures for lowering the well, and after the drill bit has made contact with the bottom of the well, please make sure to press gently and turn slowly (drilling pressure 5-15kN, speed 60r/min). After 30 minutes, the drilling pressure can be gradually increased to normal.

Cautions

1.The user is requested to select the drill with the appropriate operating parameters in accordance with the operating instructions.

2.Please check carefully the appearance of the drill bit and verify that the end face of the drill bit's fillet is the same as the factory number on the box and the certificate of conformity.

3.Drilling pressure and rotational speed should be within the recommended parameters and should not be used in conjunction with larger values of drilling pressure and rotational speed.

4.The bottom of the well must be clean, and all types of drill bits must not be slipped, slowly lowered, and pier drilling is strictly prohibited.

5.Always operate smoothly during the drilling process. If you find any abnormalities such as jump drilling, you should analyse and take effective measures in time.

6.Drill bits should be stored indoors at 10-30°C, kept dry and ventilated, protected from the sun and rain. The guarantee period is three years.
